ABOUT THE DAY
This destination wedding was originally planned for 2020, but Olivia and Jarred had to wait two years to celebrate with all their loved ones. That is not too sad though, because little Rafferty made his appearance into the world in the meantime and walked with mom down the aisle! Hosting a wedding on NYE adds an extra layer of excitement and expectation to the festivities! Our favourite part of the wedding was turning Glen Carlou’s restaurant into a romantic forest and combining indigenous flowers with a strong “wine” theme (the wine stains on the stationery was made with actual wine!). We also love the wine tasting with delectable cheeses offered in the wine cellar during the first half of the pre-drinks. Thank you Troues in die Wynland for designing and making the table seating plan backdrop with 100’s of Glen Carlou corks!
