ABOUT THE DAY
There is a certain je ne sais quo about intimate home weddings. Janine and Francois wanted to focus on their loved ones and celebrate in a beautiful family home in Cape Town. Being based in Amsterdam, flying “home” for their wedding was a highlight and the perfect opportunity to share and connect with their favourite people. What did we love most about the day? Everything worked together to create a seamless wedding day. There was very little stress (even a few last-minute challenges, loadshedding and a rain shower did not bother us…), but do not underestimate the amount of planning a home wedding requires! Our first site visit was while the house was still in the early stages of construction, and a year later the house was done and the wedding was planned to the last detail – NConcepts and Designs and Love That Space understood the couple’s vision from the get-go and this was the result…
